Sweating over the editing of Bach's B minor Partita and 3rd Lute Suite for a new recording -- doesn't help that it's 110 in the shade in New York this summer. In other recording news, New Focus Recordings is working on a new website to be unveiled mid-summer which will be selling high quality audio downloads. Some exciting releases coming out soon as well, including Peter Gilbert's new cd, Bold Arch of Undreamt Bridges, as well as recordings by Edgar Guzman, David Laganella, Van Stiefel, and pianist Marilyn Nonken playing works by Drew Baker.
ICE will head to Darmstadt, Germany on July 24 to perform a program on their international festival of contemporary music. On September 11, we'll bring Dai Fujikura's new work for the ensemble, entitled "ICE", to the Musuem of Contemporary Art in Chicago.

This September and October, I'll be out on the road again with the eclectic indie rock band Mice Parade. We'll be in North America for the last bit of September, and then off to the U.K. and Europe for October. I'm working as well on putting some material together for an opening set for our U.K. shows. Specific show dates soon.
